April 2026 Shots

April was an interesting month for weather. We had it all. Snow, sun, melt, snow, melt, sun… you get the idea. It did cause for some flooding on the open fields which led to a lot of reflections in the pooling.

Most of my shoot days were simple roaming days in the County / in town and nearby areas, however we did manage to sneak a short trip to Banff in too, where I shot an excessive number of photos that I now have to painfully sort through. Mt. Rundle was actually very cooperative for once and put on a few shows.

The Canon Powershot G2 made an appearance again, which I reviewed earlier. Short story version: it is a clunky beast that makes a fun experience. You should get one if you want to experiment with CCD sensors and the old look of digicams.

Some photos are likely going into my projects folders and others are more stand-alone images.

Below are some of the photos from the month (at least the ones I got to). None are ready per-se as I’m still doing edits and correcting them. but they’re good enough to show the idea behind them.
