Just Bring Your Camera Anyways

I’ve been learning that always bringing a camera with you has its benefits. I was fortunate enough to have taken two trips to the Canadian Rockies - both Banff National Park (Lake Louise) and Jasper National Park in rapid succession. The first was for a wok conference at the Chateau Lake Louise and the second was a dedicated ski trip in Jasper. Neither of these were specifically for photo taking and I wasn’t even sure I’d get the time to shoot anything. Despite this, I have no regrets packing some of my gear - although I did pack quite light in that regard. The photos taken from the few breaks and carve outs that I managed to seize the opportunity to grab a few shots. Personally, I am very happy with the collections I’ve made and I think it goes to show that you don’t have to be on a dedicated shooting adventure to get some unique opportunities and results.

These are all the shots and variants that I would put in the “photos of interest” category, however they are not specifically curated or paired down beyond broad categories. Some are better, some are worse.

All photos were shot on a Fujifilm X-T4.
